Teachers at the Ontario Dharma Celebration
Gen Donsang, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Montreal will be granting the empowerment and will emphasize how, through relying on Dorje Shugden, we will get the real power to transform any adversity coming our way. A Buddhist monk and sincere disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, he has studied meditation and Buddhism for many years. Through his clear and accessible teachings, is able to assist students in their spiritual practice in accordance with the modern world. He presents Buddha’s advice with humour and sincerity.
Gen Kelsang Chögyan is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada (KMCC). She has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years, under the guidance of her teacher, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Gen Chögyan presents Buddha’s teachings in a practical and accessible way for everyone to apply this profound wisdom in their daily life. Through her sincere example, she inspires many students to apply joyful effort in their practice of Dharma. Gen Chogyan will be teaching the Introduction to this year’s celebration.
Kelsang Zopa, a Canadian Buddhist monk, is the Resident Teacher at Joyful Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Ottawa. This weekend, Zopa will lead meditations on Saturday and Sunday morning.
